Salsa de Molcajete (Rustic Grilled Salsa)

On an unoiled pan on the stovetop, grill all the ingredients on both sides until blackened. The garlic will be done the quickest so remove first (about 1-2 minutes). The rest of the ingredients will take about a total of 5 minutes to grill. Remove all ingredients from the pan. Add the grilled garlic to your molcajete along with a good pinch of salt and begin to mash really well. Then, add the grilled onion and peppers, break them apart and mash well. Finally, add the remaining grilled ingredients (tomatillos and tomatoes) and mash all together until you reach your desired consistency. Enjoy with chips or on tacos. Store leftovers in a glass jar sealed tight in the fridge.
