Berries & Cream | Moras con Crema

1. Soak the nuts: Place the cashews and almonds in separate bowls. Cover each with boiling hot water and let soak for 10 minutes. After soaking, drain. The almond skins should easily peel off—remove and discard them.
2. Blend the crema: Add the soaked cashews, peeled almonds, sweetener, cashew milk, salt, and vanilla to a high-speed blender. Blend until completely smooth and creamy.
3. Taste and adjust: Adjust sweetness as needed to your preference. A generous pinch of salt helps enhance the sweetness and flavor, so you may not need as much sweetener.
4. Assemble: Add the diced blackberries to a bowl or cup and pour the crema over the top. Toss gently then place in freezer for 15-20 minutes or in the fridge for an hour to chill before enjoying.
